For years, I searched for a place value chart that would help students develop a stronger conceptual understanding of place value. Having no luck, I created one myself. This place value chart has representations in standard form, fraction form, exponential form, and as properly scaled base-ten blocks. This step book (sometimes incorrectly called a flip book) shows students how many of each coin make up a dollar. It already has the fold lines, so all you need to do is print, fold and staple!
