Using the watercolor techniques of my first lesson, this is an activity used to stimulate creative writing. Where did you go with that boot on? You can actually use any shoe. I used to have students take off their own shoe and draw it and paint it. The enthusiasm is real and along with a writing prompt. You'll be amazed at the creativity. You can also do as in the picture by having students add appropriate vocabulary.
