Experience
I'm a Dean of Students at a public high school in Queens, New York (New York City), and I'm also an adjunct professor at a private university. Teaching style
I am more of a facilitator as I push the students to be intellectually curious. There are a lot of Socratic discussions and project-based learning assignments in my classes.

I have a great relationship with my colleagues, students, and families. I have served in various leadership positions (e.g., Grade Team Lead, Content Lead, and Dean of Students).
My own education history
I have my Bachelor's degree in Government and Politics from St. John's University, and my Master's degree in Secondary Education (Social Studies) from Brooklyn College (City University of New York).
Additional biographical information
I've self-published seven (7) books to date. The range from self-improvement, corporate success strategies, and poetry. I have recently started to focus on song writing with the intention of the songs to be used as teaching tools. The songs are mostly in the Trap Rap/Hip Hop genre as this appeals to most teens.
