Experience
For the past 10 years, I have worked in special education settings, gaining experience with students aged 5 to 26. Special education has always been a deeply meaningful part of my life. Throughout my career, I have held roles such as special education teacher, art teacher, and education coordinator for a private program.
Teaching style
My foundation is in the DIR Floortime model, but I firmly believe in meeting my students where they are developmentally to help them achieve their fullest potential.
My own education history
I earned my undergraduate degree in Art Therapy from St. Thomas Aquinas College. I then obtained a Master's degree in Special Education, along with a New York State certification for K-12. Additionally, I completed a second Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from SUNY Empire State University.
