This activity is designed to help students create the proofs for the Alternate Interior/ Exterior Angle Theorem, and the Consecutitive (Same Side) interior/ exterior angle theorem. It is a cut and paste activity. The first 4 pages are the outlines for the four proofs, the last 4 pafes are tables of the steps and reasons. This can be used to introduce trig functions of any angle (more than just on the unit circle). Includes six puzzles with the point on the circle, and then the sine and cosine of each point. Learning objective: Students will know how to evaluate trigonometric functions of any angle, and use reference angles to evaluate trigonometric functions.

Print this on card stock, cut out the cards. Have students shuffle them and lay them out face down. They need to flip them over two at a time and look for matches. Covers angle pairs formed when parallel lines are cut by a transversal, as well as linear pairs, vertical angles, complementary angles, supplementary angles, parallel lines, perpendicular lines, and slope. Can be used as an informal assessment to check for understanding.

Includes both distance and midpoint formula, when to use them, and room to do two examples of each with your students. Print the foldable front to back, fold top and bottom fourth of the page over to cover examples on back. Great for interactive notebooks!

Use this foldable to teach students the differences between a line, line segment, and a ray. Angle is included on the foldable to show that it is only two rays joined by a common endpoint. Print it front to back, fold the top fourths down to the midline to cover the picture/ description. Fill these sections in with your students.

This puzzle provides either a radius or an apothem and identifies the regular polygon. The student then has to match it with the correct area. In my geometry class I give a daily homework quiz. This is generally one question from the homework they have to copy and answer. They will staple this sheet (cut into thirds) to the front top of their paper and turn it in. This is a card matching game for quadrilaterals. When photocopied front and back, the cards will line up. Page 1 pairs with page 3, 2 with page 4, and 5 and 6 go together (with two blanks in case you want to add to it) When you cut the cards out, there are 8 per page. This activity allows students to practice synthetic and long division. Can easily be used as a group work, round robin, think pair share, or any other informal assessment.

This file includes four practice problems. I have used them as a quick informal assessment to students understanding after a lesson, they can also be used in place of homework.
