This digital download includes 2 compound word knock out games. Set #1 is an easier game where kids read the compound word and who ever read it correctly remains in game. Set #2 is more challenging, each slide contains 4 words, students must combine 2 words to correctly form a compound word.

This is a classroom reading incentive that I had a tremendous amount of success with and was highly motivational for my students. All the materials you need to implement this program, parent letter, book logs and signs for bulletin board are included.

Use this fun ice cream themed activity to reinforce the rules for adding -ing and -ed to base words. Students sort the words according to rules and record them on worksheet by using the rule to make the new word. Great center activity.
