Cornell notes are a great way to introduce new science topics and to develop deeper student understanding. Students can show their level of understanding, which is great for differentiating different levels of students. This file includes examples that I've used in class. This template has worked with administration! The manipulative is great for physics and electricity. You can have students derive formulas for speed, force, Ohm's Law and other formulas in physics.
