Hang these accountable talk stems in your classroom to encourage productive discussion between your students. There are two choices for title headers, Accountable Talk and Talk Moves. There are color coordinated headers including agree, disagree, add on, prompt, explain, and clarify. The accountable talk stems are half page (two to a page). There are four stems of each type.
This engaging activity will help your students make real world connections to fractions! For this activity I used 4 mini sized Rice Krispie treats that I found on sale after Halloween along with frosting, sprinkles, and mini M & M's as toppings.
