Fourteen different styles of name tags to put on student desks. Some include cursive capital and lowercase letters for students to use as a reference. Could also be used as backgrounds for word wall words in your classroom

Each card has 20 stars to punch. Use it for good behaviors, homework completion, or other tasks around the classroom. Once students have filled the card they can receive a reward such as lunch in the classroom or a small prize. Two math problems and two grammar problems each for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Math problems include multiplication, division, addition and subtraction, as well as rounding. This is a quick dictionary for students to fill in themselves with unit vocabulary words for the Arctic or Polar Region. There is space for students to write any extra key words and draw a picture to illustrate what it means as well. There are three pages that are blank to add words. Includes both a PDF of the dictionary and a Powerpoint in case you want to change or add words.

Use this classroom rubric during any academic instruction time. Instead of using a thumbs up or thumbs down, this give students a clear idea of what you mean when you ask "Do you understand?" This requires a little teaching at first, but once you've used it a few times it requires no extra teaching. My students picked up on it quickly and now give 1, 2, 3, or 4 automatically when I am giving directions.
