About the store

Experience

I am a first year, third grade teacher in a suburb outside of Boston with a passion for labeling and bright colors. I previously worked as a Title 1 Literacy Tutor providing reading intervention to K-2 students with reading disabilities.

Teaching style

I challenge myself to present content and character to my students in engaging and tangible ways. I incorporate music, dancing, arts & crafts, collaboration, and flexibility into the majority of my lessons. My students are my priority, and I treat each of them with the respect and expectations that I would with any adult.

My own education history

I earned my bachelor's of Arts in English Literature and Elementary Education from Assumption College in 2016, and am currently enrolled in Framingham State College's Literacy & Language graduate program where I will be earning my reading specialist license.
