I am in my 12th year of teaching. First graders are definitely the best age of kiddos to teach! I can't explain the amount of love I have for teaching them to read and watch their growth throughout the entire year. It is astonishing!
I have been making powerpoints and many activities and graphic organizers for my own classroom and other teachers for awhile now. Now I just need to make the time to post them on here! (That's more than half the battle!)

Blends & Digraphs - WOW! much needed update coming!
This is a 17 page powerpoint program, that I print, cut up, and laminate to use a blends and digraphs center. There is way too much to be put into one center, so I split it up into multiple different weeks of centers. There are several pages that have a grid and the rest of the pages are real-life pictures (sorry, but I really dislike all the corny clip art. There are 3 pictures for each blend or digraph. I love spending any free time making stuff for my classroom, hunting down goodies at flea markets and garage sales, crafting and making my home more beautiful and fun, spending time with my husband and our 2 kiddos, and always on the lookout for a new way I can reach my kids!
