Welcome! I’d like to share about fraction learning tools for elementary math. Korea is a country with great enthusiasm for education and a strong interest in math. I want to help children who struggle with fractions.
This clock activity uses the story of the rabbit and the turtle to help students clearly understand the difference between the hour hand and the minute hand. Many young learners find it confusing that when the minute hand makes one full turn, the hour hand also moves slightly. Through this storytelling, students can easily see that the rabbit (minute hand) moves much faster than the turtle (hour hand) — making it a fun and meaningful way to learn how clocks work!
