Eureka Smart Notebook Template
In Eureka math's lessons, every lesson has the same componets--Fluency, objective, concept development, DOL, problem set and student debrief. In my district we are required to have the title at the top of every page with the number of minutes we spend in each section.
I got frustrated creating that every time so I created this template that has every section color coded. All I do now is open it, save it as a new file and make my lesson in the template. I never have to worry about titling sectio

Experience
I have been teaching for 6 years in inner city schools. I LOVE what I do, I love my kids and I believe every kid can succeed. My standardized test data is among the top 10% of my district and all 6 years of my teaching I have had an average student growth over 1.5 years.
Teaching style
I teach with a love and logic model. Kids need to know they are loved and cared about if they are going to learn.
Classroom wise I teach whole group for 30-45 minutes and then I spend the rest of my math time in stations.

I live with my husband in Colorado Springs Colorado. In addition to teaching full time I get the honor of helping my husband run his non-profit company. I LOVE what I do. I enjoy my students every day and I choose JOY regardless of circumstances. There is always something to celebrate.
