In the 2nd half of Eureka this year we ran into crunch time. We aligned the lessons we taught to the PARCC test, which is Colorado's current standardized test and we cut out lessons that were not tested. For example lessons 21 and 22 teach adding and subtracting with unlike denominators. This is not tested in Colorado in 4th grade so we will come back to these two lessons after March. In Eureka math's lessons, every lesson has the same componets--Fluency, objective, concept development, DOL, problem set and student debrief. In my district we are required to have the title at the top of every page with the number of minutes we spend in each section.
