5280 Teaching

This unit was created based 100% off 2nd grade common core literature standards. It is intended to be used with an interactive notebook while doing a read-aloud of The Boxcar children. This unit includes vocabulary words, text-based questions, and a standards-based comprehension portion for every chapter. Students listen and follow along to the chapter, then independently/in groups/whole class answer the questions together. There are also copies of the questions with 22+ each so you can cut

This is a fully editable (in Word) document that I passed out & went over at back to school night. It includes contact information, a meet the teacher page, a rules/procedures page, a homework policy page, snack and water page, and you can add in schedules or whatever else you need! I just sent this home on the first day if there were any no-shows on back to school night. The fonts may not transfer over to you well, but any font you like could be used in this as it is 100% yours to edit after
