I am currently in my 3rd full year of teaching 5th grade and I feel grateful for my 5th graders everyday! I also have experience working in 2nd grade self-contained and 2nd grade EL classrooms. Teaching style
I feel like without community, care, and respect, a classroom cannot function. Making sure that my students feel loved, safe, and listened to is my top priority. This mindset has resulted in effective management and has yielded students who grow academically and socially each year as I work hard to prepare them for middle school. My students are whom drive me to make differentiated content so they can succeed in their own unique way.
