This PDF contains 60 cards for students to match into 20 sets of three. One card will display the problem, the other card will display the visual and the third card will display the answer. The game can be done as matching, memory, or task cards. You can differentiate by giving less cards to some groups and more to others. Also included in this are two sheets that can be used as quizzes/classwork/homework. I use these materials with the Grade 5 GO Math chapter 7.

There are 20 fraction task cards that require students to subtract with renaming/regrouping. This can be used as a scoot activity, in small groups, or individually. There is a puzzle that spells out "Fractions are a lot of fun!" The students can check their answer and fill in the letter with the number that corresponds with the letter.

A PowerPoint to help students visualize using base ten blocks to divide. When I do this lesson I have the students using base ten blocks. There are three division problems. Each problem is solved in three slides. The students use their manipulatives and follow along with the PowerPoint to solve division problems with base ten blocks.

Included in this is a set of 24 task cards with a student answer sheet. The students can complete this independently as a scoot or with a partner. The task cards involved skills such as: rounding decimals, adding and subtracting decimals, writing decimals in word form and expanded form, and ordering decimals least to greatest.

This lesson is a power point that uses manipulatives to show how to add and subtract decimals. There are questions that require regrouping and borrowing. Many students start to understand what it means to carry the 1 when adding and what it means to borrow from "the neighbor" when subtracting. There are 4 addition problems and 4 subtraction problems. This is a powerpoint that is useful in teaching lesson 1-8 in chapter 5 for go math. There are slides that state the target for the day, and slides that explain and help with teaching the target. There are also slides that can be used as bell ringers, and lists morning jobs. There are a total of 67 slides. The focus of this PowerPoint is the division of decimals.

This worksheet includes 12 questions. Questions 1-10 require students to use long division strategies to solve the problems. Questions 11 and 12 are order of operations equations. This could be used as an in class activity of a homework assignment.

This is a form for students to fill out when they have time during the day. It can be an activity they work on if they finish their work early. I use the form for students to create math bell ringers. The students are required to write a problem, solve the problem, and record their answer.
