This is a crossword for practicing adding and subtracting decimals. The answers from the addition and subtraction problems will go inside the puzzle. ***The decimal in the answers will have their own box in the puzzle.

Play however you would like! I divided my class into 3-5 groups and keep score. If a team gets their answer incorrect the next team gets a chance to steal! and so forth. These are great review over fractions! Students will match a word problem with the equation, answer, and model. All operations are included (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division (whole numbers with fractions)

There are 20 questions to keep students engaged with the movie. There are 2 prime and composite questions and 1 question where they have to convert from improper to mixed and then simplify. Designed for a fun, EOY 5th grade math activity. EDITABLE if you want to replace the math 3 math questions.

This is a 2 page paper (front and back). The front contains simplifying, finding common denominators, and all fraction operations. The back contains modeling fractions in each operation and one order of operations problem with fractions at the bottom (the 'try this'). This document contains a mix review of converting metric/customary units word problems and subtracting mixed numbers word problems (with borrowing). This was helpful at the end of the year before testing. These two objectives seem to be more difficult and it was beneficial to have for an extra review.

The document starts with problems A-D, which are made to work together as examples. They consist of subtracting, dividing, and multiplying problems. There are 14 model expressions/equations for them to do on their own. Key included.

You can use these in your classroom however you want! I like to cut them out as cards and they have 2 categories: Word Problems and Answers They have to match the word problems with the correct answer, with work to prove their answers of course ;p OR you can just use the word problem cards and have them come up with the answers themselves! Great for independent work and partner work! -10 word problems (mixed metric and customary conversions)
