Students will fill in the grid given either a percent, decimal, ratio, or fraction. Prior knowledge if required to fill out this worksheet. This falls towards the end of module 1 (ratios) for the 6th grade common core in New York State.
I have revised the NYS Module 2. I have attached lessons 1 through 11 in the following document. This packet is 41 pages long and goes through most of the 6th grade module 1 lessons 1 through 10. The lessons are respaced to give students more room to work and some questions may have been cut out of added. This packet is based on NYS Module 1. Some questions were added and some were removed to add to the lessons that were already created. Lessons are numbered based on other modifications I have made for the rest of the original module.
This is a 6 page packet which will give a basic overview of expressions and equations. It can be beneficial for either a review before the state test or if you didn't get to module 4 (NYS) it is a way to touch on the topic before the assessment. The packet covers orders of opperations, writing algebraic expressions writing verbral expressions and solving expressions.
I have modified the NYS 6th grade Module 3. This packet uses most of the same questions from the module with some information added and some omitted as well. I have included vocabulary that many be need throughout the lesson and the objectives that we want the student to achieve from the lesson.
This worksheets allows students to take a look at 3 different pots of gold and decide which is largest and smallest and then color the pots in based on decimals and fractions. This is a great way to review before a state test or just a fun way to review on Saint Patrick's Day.
I have revised lessons 16 through 23 of the New York State 6th Grade Common Core Module 1. I have fixed spacing issues, re-numbered the pages, added vocabulary, added the student objectives and added some problems to help student learning.
