Product Analysis can be used in a variety of subjects, and this worksheet may help you to structure your observations. Design for MYP Design, but could be used in other creative topics, as well. I have been using paper documents to lessen the students reliance on the internet. Students can print out their images and paste them to the paper. I would possibly recommend printing in A3 size. Product comes with: Graphic Organizer Example Analysis Formative Checklist

IB MYP Design Brief (A4) Students will use their pencil and paper to rough out their design brief for an easier way to formatively check student work. Students will only need to rough out their design brief in point form, so it is easier for them to correct their work, and easier for the teacher to see if students are on the right track. Example provided for an Education Uno game to help students understand what needs to be written.

IB MYP Research Plan Template Students can use this template to generate research topics with this printout. Lately I have been using printouts to help students generate ideas without the use of a computer. Students spend time thinking on their own without the computer, and then turn to the computer in order to research their findings. With these printouts I have seen increased engagement and submissions are more timely.

About the store

Experience

I have taught in a number of countries and taught within a number of different curriculum styles. I am in my 11th year of teaching and in those 11 years, I have taught courses in ELD, English, Communications, Art, Design, and Computer Science. My current concentrations are in MS Computers and Graphic Design, but I am always learning and trying to improve in all areas.

Teaching style

My teaching style is inquiry based, and I try my best to have students become independent learners who base their decision making on a logical and systematic approach to problem solving.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I took home 3rd place in a Chinese national photo competition between "specialist" workers.

My own education history

I have studied a wide variety of topics from Art and Design, Art History, and Film to Sociology, Psychology. However, my concentration was in 20th C. History and I earned a second degree in Elementary Education.
