About the store

Experience

I have taught in a number of countries and taught within a number of different curriculum styles. I am in my 11th year of teaching and in those 11 years, I have taught courses in ELD, English, Communications, Art, Design, and Computer Science. My current concentrations are in MS Computers and Graphic Design, but I am always learning and trying to improve in all areas.

Teaching style

My teaching style is inquiry based, and I try my best to have students become independent learners who base their decision making on a logical and systematic approach to problem solving.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I took home 3rd place in a Chinese national photo competition between "specialist" workers.

My own education history

I have studied a wide variety of topics from Art and Design, Art History, and Film to Sociology, Psychology. However, my concentration was in 20th C. History and I earned a second degree in Elementary Education.
