This is for our littlest learners who are just starting to write paragraphs - likely second graders (but could vary). The packet includes a 2-page packet including an opportunity for brainstorming/pre-writing, and 3-steps to draft the paragraph. It also includes a few different pages to write the final paragraph on (with a picture box, without a picture box, and with a checklist at the bottom of the page). The final page is a list of possible paragraph topics for beginners.
This is a blank "tree map" to be used for any topic you're reading about. Use it with informational texts or magazines, or send your students to the library for an independent reading and response activity using books or internet resources.

This is a FREEBIE I made to go along with the foam math dice (found at the Target Dollar Spot - but can be found/made elsewhere). The students play in pairs and roll two number die and an operation dice, write their number sentence and solve. At the end they add up all of the answers for a total sum.
