This is a research reporting form that your students can use with Pebble Go - a subscription-based database for primary students. Students record questions, facts, vocabulary words, and can create a labeled diagram to go along with their research.
This printable walks your students through the scientific process in regards to penguins and their waterproof feathers. Students will make observations, form a hypothesis, follow a plan/procedure, and report their findings.

This is a hands-on, interactive activity in which students can see how a butterfly sees, through a compound eye! Directions are included for how to do the activity as well as a lab sheet/response page for students to complete at the end of the activity.
This gives students a chance to write about their larva as part of their classroom experience of raising butterflies. A way to engage students right from the arrival of their larva. A favorite of my students every year!
