About the store

Experience

Hi! I’m the creator behind A Good Start. I design classroom-ready resources that are simple to prep, easy to use, and engaging for young learners. My goal is to help teachers save time while still giving students meaningful practice through visuals, hands-on activities, and clear directions.

Teaching style

My teaching style is student-friendly, visual, and skill-based. I like activities that feel fun but still teach important concepts—sorting, matching, reading simple sentences, and building vocabulary. Most of my resources are designed to work well for whole-group lessons, small groups, centers, or independent practice.

Awards & shining teacher moments

One of my favorite “teacher moments” is seeing students feel proud when they understand a concept right away—especially with visuals and hands-on learning. I love creating resources that make teaching smoother and help students feel confident, included, and successful.

My own education history

I have a strong interest in early childhood education and classroom learning. I’m continuously learning and improving my materials by studying teaching strategies, reviewing standards-based skills, and listening to real teacher feedback to make each resource more practical and effective.

Additional biographical information

I’m a resource creator who loves cute, clean visuals and simple layouts that print beautifully. I focus mostly on Pre-K to Grade 3 resources—especially no-prep worksheets, sorting activities, posters, and student-friendly activities for social studies, health, and seasonal topics. Thank you for supporting my store—I’m so happy to be part of your classroom!
