Provided in this purchase is six lesson plans for Good Habits, Great Readers Level 8 along with a pre-printed form for students to complete a written response for each book. You will have to make your own copy of the graphic organizer provided by Pearson. On the plans, I have included a place to write in short hand your designated Common Core Goals. The lesson plans are set up for students to study the book over three meetings. The rest of Level 8 will be coming soon. Enjoy!

This Sight Word Home Activity pack is a great compliment to my High Frequency Word Lists and Hi-Five classroom practice activity. Included in this packet is a ready made letter for parents explaining the high frequency word pre-test, the highlighted list being sent home and activity packet for home practice ideas. Inside the activity packet are the directions and materials needed (except for crayons, paper, pencils) for each of the games.

Good Habits, Great Readers provides a writing center idea for each story. The prompts can be found on the 5-Day Planner at the beginning of each story. I have taken these prompts and created exciting recording sheets to use in your writing center.

My district complied their own list of High Frequency Words. We took the most popular researched lists and merged them into one. Included in this download are six twenty-four word lists, a pre- and post-test, and High Five classroom practice activity.

I have taken the "Check for Understanding" question provided for each lesson in a 5-day series along with comprehension questions from the mentor text and created a weekly quiz of 10 questions. There are 9 multiple choice and one short answer questions.
