Students can use this game to practice identifying and classifying polygons and their characteristics. The game helps build vocabulary and increases knowledge of polygon properties. Directions: Each partner secretly chooses a polygon shape off of the chart. Then, partners take turns asking each other yes or no questions trying to guess each other’s polygon first. This is the first DMR quiz that matches the skills for Weeks 1-2. If 75% of my class masters (gets both problems of the same skill) correct, then I replace that skill with a new skill on the following week's DMR. I pull the 25% of students who didn't pass the skill during small groups the following week for more practice and remediation activities. If 75% of the class does not master one or more of the skills, I repeat that same math skill on the next week's DMR.
