Students will explore David Hockney’s joiner photography technique by selecting a subject (person, place, or thing) and taking at least 20 photos from various angles, using a mental grid to ensure comprehensive coverage. They will upload and organize their photos on a computer, then use photo editing software (such as Photoshop, GIMP, or Pixlr) to creatively compile and arrange the images into a surreal, abstract composition.
