Use these with photos of your students! Print on color paper, have students cut out the elf body and hat, then glue their face on and voila-adorable elf ornament. Just laminate and add ribbon. These have been a hit with my kids for years.

This packet contains 18 Race to the Top Games. Partners take turns rolling a die and reading a word above that number (or naming letters or letter sounds) and color the box. The first player to color all the boxes in a column wins. My kindergartners could do this independently and really loved it. Many of them kept playing until all the boxes were colored! I use this in literacy centers and also for homework for students to play against their parents or older siblings. Included: Lower case

These sheets are designed for students to complete as homework/project to build connections at home. Depending on the level of students can determine how much writing needs to be done, so it's flexible (i.e. one word invented spelling vs. complete sentences). I have done these with my kindergartners and it was a great assignment!

This product can be used for many things, but was designed to be used in kindergarten leadership portfolios (for the "myself" tab). There are two choices for each month of the year: Self Portrait and Name Writing (includes a dotted line for name writing at the bottom that did not show on the png.) Monthly thematic "All about Me" writing, such as "These are 2 friends in my class" and "These are two things I enjoy in winter" etc.

This resource was designed with kindergarten students in mind, as a way to build their skills in reading color words and with their coloring. This product is a little bit of a different take on filling in a number line. Instead, students find the animal and write the number next to it's picture. Same concept as filling in the missing numbers, just a small twist. There are pages that go from 1-10, 1-20, 1-50, and 1-100 for differentiation or to use throughout the year as your students grow in their number knowledge. My kindergarten students were able to complete these independently.

This bundle includes four packets from when kids first start reading (short vowel words only) through more complex decoding skills with diphthongs, etc. They are designed to build upon one another and be accessible to most/all readers to do independently or with a partner. I use a "read and draw" sheet for independent work time during literacy groups. The words are all decodable and words young readers are familiar with and can draw fairly easily. The students enjoy creating their pictures and working with each other. They also look good on display in the classroom. This is the first set I use during the year. 2 pages per vowel.
