My goal? To help you teach with confidence and creativity—while keeping things trendy in your classroom. I blend timeless best practices with fresh, fun ideas to create engaging and effective resources for young learners.
I have over 23 years of classroom experience, hold a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas Tech University and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Reading. I’m certified in ESL and Gifted & Talented instruction and have completed extensive training in the Science of Reading—so every resource I create is rooted in research and real-world experience.
From K–5, my heart has always belonged to 1st and 2nd grade ELA. I currently teach all subjects in 1st grade at CFISD, where I focus on making learning accessible, joyful, and meaningful for every child. I've also worked behind the scenes contributing to curriculum development and instructional design across multiple districts.
