About the store
Hi, I’m Esther—the creator of AAC Fun Learning. I created this exciting curriculum to help emergent learners build skills through engaging, hands-on activities—alongside adorable characters they can connect with. As a parent of two non-speaking adolescents with multiple disabilities, I’ve walked my own AAC journey alongside my children. Along the way, I learned that AAC is a full language—and it needs to be taught and used throughout the day, in every setting. That experience is what inspired me to create AAC Fun Learning—a curriculum (and a cast of motivating characters) designed to support communication and other essential concepts in a way that feels fun, meaningful, and achievable. At the heart of AAC Fun Learning is a simple belief: every child deserves materials that truly meet them where they are—so they can be seen, supported, and shine.

Teaching style

With consistent exposure and practice, non-speaking children can learn language and concepts through the AAC program they use. The visual design is intentionally learner-friendly: * Vibrant 3D vibrant images that feel engaging and inviting, * Limited distractions to help learners focus * Easy-to-connect visuals that support motivation and understanding Whether you’re a parent, teacher, or therapist, you’ll find tools that support Communication, Early academics, Independence, Confidence. Everything is created with care and the understanding that kids learn best through play, visuals, repetition, and connection. The curriculum is based on Fitzgerald color coding, with tweaks to create a more organized learning experience. You can choose to color-code your student’s AAC system to match the curriculum—or use the materials without emphasizing color. I’d love for you to join me on this journey as we build communication and confidence together.
