About the store

Experience

In the past ten years, I've been an elementary resource specialist. I love being connected to so many classrooms, teachers, and students.

Teaching style

My teaching style is flexible. I minimize environmental distracts in the classroom in order to fully engage my students. Being a special education teacher, I know that one teaching method never works with all the students, all the time. Given that, I'm a huge fan of the workshop model and love when students can be motivated by their own successes.

My own education history

I have a master's in Special Education, and teaching credentials in: general education, special education, and early childhood development.

Additional biographical information

Fun fact, I got my start in teaching as a horse back riding instructor!
