Hi, I’m Shawnta! I’m a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with years of experience supporting children with autism and their families.I also hold degrees in Psychology and Behavioral Health Science with a minor in Childhood Development.
Before entering the education and behavioral health field, I proudly served over 13 years in the U.S Army, completing two deployments to Iraq. That experience shaped my discipline ,problem solving skills, and commitment to service-qualities I now bring into creating practical,effective tool for families, classrooms and clinics .
I created practical, easy-to-use tools like token boards, first/then chats, visual support guides that help kids, build focus, regulate emotions, and feel successful at school , home , or in the clinic.My support guides are also used for RBT exams and Parents for Parent training. Every resource is designed to support teachers, parents, and therapists with structured, researched based strategies that also bring a little joy and calm into learning.
And as the BACB updates regulation and policies, I’ll keep these guides updated so you always have the most current support in your hand .

Teaching style
My teaching style blends structure with compassion. I believe every child can succeed when given the right tools and support. My resources are built on ABA principles, but explained in a way that’s simple and practice for both teachers and parents.
