Experience

I have six years of experience teaching children in a variety of settings. Currently I am teaching in an integrated preschool program. I really enjoy working with challenging behaviors.

Teaching style

Working with children with special needs I have learned to match my teaching style to their learning styles. If the children aren't getting it I think we need to change what we are doing to meet them where they are at that moment.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I receive great feedback from parents of the students I work with and in my opinion that is the best feeling there is as a teacher.

My own education history

I earned my bachelor's in political science in 2007, and my master's in special education in 2009. I am currently working on my BCBA which I will finish in the spring of 2016.
