This is a great partner or group activity or even an independent check for understanding. This activity has multiple tables and students will be expected to be able to find the slope and y-intercept of each. Slope and rate of changed are both used in this resource.

I will be making activities using these questions so that students get a chance to review- as well as when I actually have the students take the quiz for a grade. A lot of these things are items that st

This is a resource I use for my classes. It goes through major topics covered in 8th Grade TEKS. This activity is based on the tumbling tower game. With this game you will need to have tumbling towers and have them labeled with 6 different colors either with markers or stickers. When a player removes a piece, ALL the players in the group will work out the problem in that color column. Example: Player A r
Students will match the points on the left with a matching slope on the right. Connect them with a straight line. If the line goes through a number and a letter, use that number and letter in the puzzle at the bottom of the page. I love this as a quick check for understanding activity. It’s a wonderful independent activity that can be done after a test as a recursive review, as a warm up, as homework or independent activity, or with a substitute.
