Read the story called Go Away Big Green Monster or any other monster story as a read aloud intro to counting to 10. Have the students color, cut and glue 10 eyes on the monster template. Provided on the activity is a number sequence on the bottom in order to help students to help count the eyes before gluing them onto the monster. Then have students count the eyes to double check their quantity.
