Your students will have fun coloring and reading to the rhythm of "Brown Bear, brown bear..." a booklet about their school workers. Your students will recognizing and identifying their school workers just like Social Studies standards/C-scope objective of lower grade levels indicates. The booklet is simple to assemble by following the instructions provided in the packet.

Have your kids learn to identify these 7 examples of weather with this simple 8 pg coloring booklet of half pages decode-able reader. It is provided in both English and Spanish for bilingual classrooms. Its easy to assemble. Just run it back to back, cut down the middle, gather together and staple. The kids will read for themselves about the weather in English or Spanish. Use this activity as an independent activity for your weather lesson.

Read the story called Go Away Big Green Monster or any other monster story as a read aloud intro to counting to 10. Have the students color, cut and glue 10 eyes on the monster template. Provided on the activity is a number sequence on the bottom in order to help students to help count the eyes before gluing them onto the monster. Then have students count the eyes to double check their quantity.

Mini reading booklet El es… Have the students become fluent readers by exposing them to “palabras de frecuencia” following the buildup of words from the Kinder McGrawhill Tesoros word sequence. Run the booklet –front to back- and staple where indicated. Then just cut along the dotted line. You’ll have two booklets at once. Just run as many as needed for your classroom count.
