This short presentation deals with 5th Grade Common Core Math 5.NBT.3 reading, writing and comparing decimals. It demonstrates by the use of manipulatives, how decimals can be represented in different ways. For example, 0.2 is equal to 0.20, etc. Meets new common core standards for 5th grade mathematics. This SMART presentation also relates the "flexible" ways to represent decimals to money.
