About the store
Hello, and welcome to my store! I have taught for 14 years in four different states. I have taught at all levels and many subjects. My aim with this store to ease the burden of lesson planning by creating ready-to-use materials that can streamline the planning process. Experience

Hello, and welcome to my store! I have taught for 14 years in four different states. I have taught at all levels and many subjects. My aim with this store to ease the burden of lesson planning by creating ready-to-use materials that can streamline the planning process. Currently, I teach middle school special education, adjunct at a local university helping prepare the next generation of educators, and I mentor current educators on creating self-paced classrooms to aid student learning.

Teaching style

I love to have a plan, and I try to follow my plans. However, as a special education teacher some days that just doesn't happen. I am very flexible and can roll with the punches and adapt/modify on the fly as needed.

Modern Classrooms Distinguished Educator

My own education history

I went to college and received a bachelor's degree in business administration. I realized real quickly that working in the "business" world wasn't the right choice for me. So I went back to college and got my master's degree in education from Cumberland University in Tennessee. I have also taken course work in special education above my master's.

Additional biographical information

I am happily married and we share 3 Labrador retrievers. I enjoy reading, camping, and relaxing with the dogs and my husband. I also volunteer at church with the special needs ministry.
