This powerpoint has 40 "Would you Rather?" questions to use as a game or brain break. It is set up to answer by moving to the left or the right of the classroom. This can be easily changed if this amount of movement is not possible. For example, students could hold up their left or right hand to answer.

Give your students fun ways to learn element symbols. 1) Students can find 20 element symbols hidden in a picture. I recommend doing this in google classroom to complete as a digital image if you do not have a good printer. 2) 12 riddles ask students to identify the element and also write the symbol. 3) Crossword puzzle where students fill in the element name using the symbol as a clue. It will be helpful for students to have a periodic table to reference while doing the activities.
Students will answer 15 questions using text broken down into short paragraphs, followed by a short vocabulary matching and multiple choice assignment at the end. Instructions for students to create their own food web by researching an ecosystem of their choice is also included.
