I have been teaching since August of 2013 and only teaching 5th grade until 2018. In 2018, I moved up to middle school and teach 7th and 8th grade computer classes with the 8th grade class being a high school credit course. I also help develop materials for my district and professional development.

I always still have quite a bit to learn and my teaching style is rather fluid. I tend to incorporate more project based learning, blended learning while incorporating more traditional teaching with mini lessons. I have a more laid back approach that offers students more freedom with their learning, but still try to apply a supportive, structured environment.

My hobby is building computers, video games and anything technology that lets me tinker. I like to draw and write on my free time as well as cook and garden!
