As the children review the picture cards in this activity, they will identify the shape of each item and determine which category the item should be placed in. In order to complete this activity, the children will use scissors to cut out the picture cards, then they will place them under the appropriate category on the sorting paper. Use this cut and paste worksheet to assess knowledge of different shapes. Students will develop their fine motor skills when cutting out the names of the shapes.
