The content creator has been a mobile and desktop website designer for a tech company based in Georgia for three years. Being certified by the IAAP in November 2023, we believe that making accessible designs are crucial to diversifying our world and collaborating in innovative ways.

Teaching style

At Accessibility Fun, we have a multifaceted approach to teaching. Education should allow for flexibility in learning, so the material will be presented in different ways. Mostly text, some images, and examples of topics being discussed, and links to videos. There will also be quizzes occasionally, and activities that will challenge your retention of the material.

University of West Georgia, Bachelors in Criminology, May 2015. UX Designer, Google Certificate 2022 Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies in November, 2023.

My own education history

The owner of Accessibility Fun graduated from university in 2015 with a degree in Criminology. With robotics programming experience, she delved into front-end design for personal reasons. Becoming certified in accessibility has allowed the main content creator to specialize and teach about WCAG, Universal Design, and accessibility in physical and digital spaces.

Originating from Atlanta, Georgia, the owner of Accessibility Fun loves to hike, spend time eating lots of food on the holidays, and educating the public about the numerous benefits of accessible and equitable design.
