Teaching style

As a special educator, I am a firm believer that all students can learn. It is my job to provide materials and scaffold instruction to allow my students to be successful. The basis of my instruction is through an interactive notebook that my students and I create over the course of the year. This provides them with graphic organizers and concrete steps showing them how to master specific skills. I focus on hands-on, interactive learning with the use of stations, task cards, and peer tutoring activities.
