About the store

Experience

Hello! My name is Mikayla and I have experience as a substantially separate special education teacher and inclusion special education teacher between grades K-6 for the past 5 years.

Teaching style

My favorite subjects to teach are Math and Writing. I love making resources that include ample visuals and different tactile approaches!

My own education history

After college I moved out to California to teach Outdoor Education. I worked as a Residential Science Instructor for grades 3-6 before becoming a Tour Guide and bringing international travelers on camping trips through Northern California. After 3 years in California I moved back to Massachusetts, my home state and went back to school for Special Education. I have been in program classrooms since the beginning of my public school career and absolutely love it!
