Doodle notes are an amazing way to engage students during lecture or to help them synthesize information. One of my biggest pet peeves as an educator is when I'm presenting notes on a lecture and students are requesting I write down every single thing on the Power Point. These notes allow students to pay attention while still deciding what information is important and giving some creativity to their notes!

Experience

Teaching style
I am all about creativity and engagement. As Wade King says "Set the Stage to Engage!" Fun and exciting activities are my jam.
My own education history
I received my bachelor's degree in journalism and English from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and worked as a journalist for a few years before deciding to go back to school and become a teacher.
I have my teaching certificate from the University of Nebraska Kearney and am working on my master's degree through that school as well.
