Geometry ACT Prep - Entire Collection This is a collection of my 31 ACT Preparation Files in a zip file. The problems are separated by concept, which makes it far easier than searching through multiple ACTs looking for the perfect problem for a lesson. Since some problems are multi-concept, there will be repeated problems in the different files. This worksheet teachers the basics of graphing polar coordinates, using polar graphs. It is step by step and includes a bonus page of blank polar graphs for use in class.

This worksheet uses the sum/difference identities with inverse trig functions. This is a great way to review inverse (sin-1 cos-1 tan-1) trig functions and combine with the sum and difference identities. The first problem is completely worked out and explained with a diagram. Then three additional problems for the students to work out follow. Last page is the answer to the student problems.

This is a great "real life" example using piecewise functions. Students learn the basics of tax brackets and can calculate basic tax owed by using piecewise functions. It is very thorough and includes some practice problems and answers. Highly challenging for an Algebra II or PreCalculus class.
