This station activity can be used in any secondary classroom. This activity allows students to explore various ways that preschoolers develop certain skills and experience ' a day in the life of a preschooler'. I did not have students complete a worksheet. I moved around the room while students were moving throughout stations to ensure participation. We completed a class discussion after all students compelted.
This is a great way to start the year in child development. Students create a slideshow discussing their childhood at each stage of development that we will discuss throughout the year. Students really enjoyed sharing and looking back on pictures. This also was a great way for students to bond and learn about one another.
Use these super easy stations to allow students to explore the different senses. This was used in Child Development when learning about Childhood. Students loved it! What you will need - Random Images ( I used pictures from google; an abstract picture, a sunny day, etc) - A few essential oils (Peppermint, Eucalyptus, and Lavender were hits for mine!) - A few pieces of different texture fabrics (I also included sandpaper) This was so fun to hear and see how students' memories were brought back fr
This Google Sheets tool is designed for teachers to easily organize and plan each month with a built-in calendar layout. Each day includes space to add notes, reminders, or important events. At the bottom of each month, there's a dedicated section for additional monthly notes or reflections.
Use these notecards as an easy way to introduce or review different types of blood spatter. Students enjoyed this activity. Extension: have students provide examples of how those types of blood spatter might occur at a crime scene.
This is an amazing activity for students to get to know each other during the first week of school. I had students partner up and work together to find people in the class who could sign off on their bingo card. The catch: a partner group could only sign ONE box, even though there are two people in the group. Students had so much fun! I gave out stickers as a reward.

This is a fun way for your students to identify some of their personality traits without doing a "boring" personality quiz online. How a student draws their pig determines certain personality traits about them. It is also a great way to teach collaboration. At the end, students can discuss whether the quiz was right or wrong!
