This file include instructions and detailed rubric for both the proposal and presentation of this project. This projects aligns with the Ontario Curriculum PLF4M course, but can be adapted to a leadership, grade 11 or 12 Physical Education, or grade 11 or 12 dance course.

As a PE teacher I am sure you have struggled finding something to do for the student that cannot participate due to an injury. Rather than having them sit on the sidelines watching or working on other class work, I have created a personalized assignment that allows students to research and learn about their injury. This assignment is flexible in how the student presents their information and can be modified for the amount of time the student cannot participate.

"Who Am I" end of semester assignment. At the beginning of the semester, I have students create a small poster to introduce themselves. This is a great way to get to know the students and their interests. At the end of the semester I created this mini assignment to see students growth and interests within the class. This is a great way for students to look back and reflect on their growth in the semester. This can be adapted for all grades.

The Dance Choreography 12 Outline is an overview of the grade 12 Choreography class for students. This course was under the British Columbia curriculum, but can be adapted to other curriculum and modified to align with course, school, and student interests.

PPL40 (Grade 12 Health and Physical Education) Physical Addiction Presentation. Can also be used for other Health courses. This is an interesting assignment and can be done individually, in pairs, or groups. I allow students to choose their own topics and each topic can only be chosen once, to stop overlap and make the presentations different. Some students use topics from My Strange Addictions and others choose more common topics.

This powerpoint has been used in Leadership classes to learn about the different types of communication barriers and conflict management skills.
