This two day lesson plan challenges students to analyze the text while performing in depth indirect and direct characterization of two characters to ultimately identify their parallelisms. CCSS aligned and PARCC geared, this exercise is rigorous and engaging. Also included are excerpts to help students focus on specific elements and characters in the text.
This worksheet is an excellent resource when discussing film translations or when having students create their own films or movie trailers. Within this worksheet students will gain exposure to literal, traditional, and radical film translations.
