My students love puzzles! These math puzzles are a great way for all of your students to engage in math in an exciting and fun way. Students are given a grid and asked to find the missing numbers. Students will use math reasoning, substitution strategies, and pre-algebra skills to find solutions. The puzzles range in difficulty for easy differentiation for any student in 2nd-5th grade. * The resource comes with directions and an answer key.

Elapsed Time and Money Freebie! Who likes food and birthday parties? Your students! This sheet gives students an opportunity to show their understanding of time and money. Jimmy is going to the mall to purchase a gift for his sister's birthday. On the way he buys a gift and snacks. He also has to keep track of the time to make it home for dinner. Students will have to keep track of Jimmy's money and time with this activity. This activity will work perfectly with this time number line.

This created product assists in teaching students computation standards related to addition, subtraction, and multiplication of large/small numbers. Seven templates are included in this product and the sheets can be used immediately. I've found the sheets to be especially useful in elementary schools (grades 2-5) and for guided math groups.

Students can work in independently or in groups to put together this puzzle.
